Shale 18

Shale 18 is another piece intended to be trimmed as you use it.  Measuring 32 inches by 7, you can trim off the two upper corners to make a single outcrop that tapers down realistically at either end.  Save the pieces you trim off—you can add them onto the ends to lengthen the outcrop, or use them elsewhere on the layout.  There’s always room for more detail somewhere.
