Shale 17

Shale 17 offers another cut surface through fine-bedded shale, but now showing a bit more weathering than Shale 15.  Rather than a few, widely spaced vertical joints cutting through the sedimentary beds, the individual thin beds are far more obvious.  Like Shale 15, this one is intended to be cut up and rearranged.  Just follow the low spots with your scissors, and you can easily create patches of highly detailed rock texture that you can rearrange any way you want.  Measuring 16 by 7 inches, it will cover a lot of area.
