Santa Fe Tunnel

Santa Fe Tunnel measures 32 inches by 8 inches.  The tunnel portal is sized for single track in HO, but can easily be used in Sn3 or as a double track tunnel in N scale.  Need a bigger portal for S or O?  Simply get out your scissors, and make a few short cuts into the rock around the portal.  Bend back the rubber a bit, and you soon have the clearance you need.  Now attach each piece of rubber you bent back to your scenery support, and work some sculptamold into the spaces between the rubber tabs.  Remember to tint the inside surfaces of the tunnel portal dark gray or black—it’s sooty and DARK in there!
